I CAN Create

Visit Discovery Place KIDS as we get the creative juices flowing and celebrate our new theme I CAN Create.

Join us for story time as we explore the world of color. We will be reading some of our favorite books including, a color of his own and little blue and little yellow, both written by Leo Lionni as well as The Mixed Up Chameleon by Eric Carle and many more. After listening to these terrific tales, stop by the I CAN Create Studio to bring the books to life.

Our Super Puppet show will inspire young authors as we retell a traditional African Folk Tale. Travel to Africa with us and meet Anansi the spider and his animal friends.

“Wow” is what you will be saying when you experience our color wonder science show. Be our guest as we experiment with the science of color.

In the I CAN Create Studio we will be doing a little bit of everything to celebrate our I CAN Create Theme. Activities include mixing colors, making mosaics, finger painting and much more to spark the artist in your little one.
