Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you need to go into hibernation! There’s a flurry of winter activities at the Museum as we celebrate Animals in Winter now through January 14.

Join Mr. Chipmunk on an expedition to solve the mystery of his missing animal friends at our science show Where Do Animals Go in Winter?

And, discover how animals survive the chilly season during the free puppet show Sammy the Squirrel’s Adventures.

Story time provides the chance to get snuggly and warm as we read tales including Time to Sleep by Denise Fleming and Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman.

Whether we’re dancing to Jingle Bells or doing the Peppermint Twist during Big Fun, decorating a tree with winter snacks for wild birds in the Learning Garden or simply getting into the spirit of winter…there’s always something new to do.
