Prior to the Museum opening, our volunteers have been instrumental in assisting us with cleaning and sorting toys as well as setting up activities at public fairs and festivals. Current members of our Crew have volunteer interests spanning a variety of backgrounds. She joined the CAN Do Crew to act as a role model for visitors with disorders as well as help children learn how to interact with people of all abilities. Chris and her mom Tracy have helped with everything from crafts to sorting toys. They are an important... Keep reading.

Ask just about any child ages 2-8 if you can help them do something and the usual response is “I can do it, let me do it!” As a child centered children’s museum, we decided our exhibit focus would be an I CAN theme. You and your child (ren) will have the opportunity to explore and play in the following exhibit areas.

-I CAN Create—create your own masterpiece as you visit the visual arts studio. Display your creative flair on the Town Hall Theater stage and in the Puppet Theater.
-I CAN be Healthy—discover how to be healthy by role-playing in a grocery store, a doctor’s office, a fitness center, a restaurant and by visiting a farm.
-I CAN Work—imagine what it would be like to be a firefighter, policeman, veterinarian or other community... Keep reading.
